Should HGH be Treated Like A Steroid in Professional Sports? |

| Is HGH as bad as we think it is? What is the main difference between steroids and HGH? For starters, we all know that athletes can easily bulk up on steroids and improve his athletic abilities. Clinical studies suggest that HGH would not help an athlete at all. So if growth hormone does not help, why are athletes taking it and breaking league rules to get it? In lab studies, growth hormone does not seem to help with strength in weight lifting, but it does have a great effect on muscle definition. The reason that athletes use HGH may be that the drug really does enhance performance but at the undetectable levels. The effects may be very slight to an athlete, but even a tiny edge from this drug can make a big difference. If there is no testing right now, then should they invest a whole lot of money to create a test? Should they even be concerned with HGH and its effects? Post your comments and let me hear what you all think. |
