My HGH experience; side effects (dmjr; post 1) |

About 3 months ago, I contacted an anti aging center to discuss taking the controversial drug HGH (Human Growth Hormone), because I had heard of the physical and mental enhancing benefits. I must admit, I like to live on the edge a bit, but at the same time, I'm in recovery 2 and 1/2 years for alcohol dependency and I wanted to make sure that it wouldn't threaten my sobriety, so I asked allot of questions. I'm 44 years old and starting to feel the effects of my age and the fact that I've been a gym rat for on and off, about 20 years. I love playing basketball and staying fit. In my early 20's, I even competed in a few body building contests and took a few very short cycles of steroids. Anyway, my joints and muscle recovery aren't what they used to be so to prolong my active lifestyle, I decided to take HGH and see where it took me.
The doctor that I say told me after a blood test that my levels were low for my age and he thought the drug could help me with my symptoms signifcantly. He also assured me it was safe and told me he would take it slow and work me into a regimen that was good for me. Within about 5 days, I started to notice some possibly placebo effects, I'm not sure, but the bottom line is I started to feel a little bit better physically, and even mentally.
My next post will be in a few days. I'll then get into some positive and very negative effects that I started to feel. dm |
