Andy Pettitte was named in the Mitchell Report as having used steroids supplied by Yankees trainer. But, Andy Pettitte denies ever taking steroids. He claims that he took human growth hormone for two days, and not steroids. Andy Pettitte's trainer is calling the human growth hormone a steroid. Andy Pettitte also claimed that he only took the human growth hormone back in 2002, to help his injured elbow to heal faster. Andy Pettitte wanted to get back to playing for his team as soon as possible. Andy believes that he was not breaking any rules at the time, but felt bad so he stopped taking the human growth hormone. What do you think? Do you believe Andy? Does it really matter? His team seems to believe him. He has been signed for another year of baseball. I'm not sure if he is telling the truth, but his team seems to believe him. And that is enough for me. The human growth hormone sounds like a miracle cure, if it really can help a person heal faster. Here is a video of a news report naming Andy Pettitte as someone who had taken steroids.
