Growth Hormone products used to be produced from the pituitary gland of corpses. Today, GH products are made with a recombinant form of GH that is identical to the kind that is found in the human body. There are some companies that do use GH from animals though, but many will use the recombinant form (bio engineered). The recombinant growth hormone is made by taking DNA that contains GH 191, which is a single chain amino acid and is incorporated into living purified cell cultures synthesized from plant matter. Over a period of time, the growth hormone pattern begins to develop in the culture and the finished product that is in the form of a powder, is now an 'exact' duplication of the HGH.
